Story of Amumu
Statistic
Runes
For the stable jungling, Runes must be based on Armors.
Also, Movement Speed is for quick jungling and ganking.
Whether to choose blue rune as Magic Resist or Armor is depended on what kinds on champs your enemy pick.
Masteries
Summoner Spells
Smite is THE essential Spell for jungler.
Skills
Passive: Cursed Touch
- Amumu's attacks reduce the target's Magic Resistance 15/20/25 (Level 1/7/13) for a short duration.
Bandage Toss
- Amumu tosses a sticky bandage at a target, stunning and damaging 80/140/200/260/320 (+0.7AP) the target while he pulls himself to them.
Despair
- Overcome by anguish, nearby enemies lose a percentage of their maximum health each second 1.5/1.8/2.1/2.4/2.7 (+0.01AP)%.
Tantrum
- Passive: Permanently reduces the physical damage Amumu would take 2/4/6/8/10.
- Amumu can unleash his rage, dealing damage 75/100/125/150/175 (+0.5AP) to surrounding enemies. Each time Amumu is hit, the cooldown on tantrum is reduced by 0.5 seconds.
Curse of the Sad Mummy
- Amumu entangles surrounding enemy units in bandages, damaging 150/250/350 (+0.8AP) them and rendering them unable to attack or move.
Skill Build
Low levels usually learn W at level 1 like above. But some 30 level players with full runes sometimes learn E for a faster jungling.

Before game Tips.
- If enemy team has jungler such as Lee Sin, Shyvana, or Shaco, I do not really recommend to pick Amumu. These three champs are strong at counter jungling, which might be especially annoying for Amumu.
-If enemy team has jungler such as Nautilus or Malphite, I recommend to pick Amumu.
Jungle Tips.
- How do you jungle?
Start and Follow the arrow. If your team is capable of leashing, please start with wolves first then blue. Always hunt Red at the end or later.
- There are many people who doesn't understand jungler's ROLE or JOB. Jungling is not a RPG game like you hunt monsters and grow. Junglers have to find lanes that having hard time and gank to keep the game going well for their team. Also, it is necessary to ward at enemy's jungle and locate their jungler all the time.
- Mana managing depends on Amumu's E skill. Which also means that jungling speed depends on how many E skills you use. If HP is high and Mana is low, try to use only W and basic attack. If HP is low and Mana is high, use W and E skills frequently.
- Before learning ult at 6, two ganks would be enough. More ganks would lower your level up speed.
- In the beginning, it is recommended to gank Top and Mid. After 6 with ult on, it is more recommended to gank bottom lane.
- Junglers always need to know the right regen time for monsters. Blue and Red regens after 5 minutes. Dragon is 6 minutes and Baron is 7 minutes.
In Team Fight Tips.
- Amumu's ult is one of the best initiating team fight skills of all champs. Also, not only initiate the fight, to fight more efficiently, attacking their adc dealer after initiating would help your team a lot.
- If flash is on, Flash-R-Q would be much much better than just Q-R.

Galio, the Sentinel's Sorrow - Season 3
Story of Galio
Statistic
Runes
Unlike other mid champs, Galio goes all runes by Magic Resist. At level 1, Galio gets 56 Magic Resist. However, according to Passive (See Below), Galio gets about 23 ability power at the same time due to high Magic Resist rate.
As a result, early dealing with enemy will be always stay stronger.
Also, it's sometimes recommended to put Movement Speed for Quintessence runes (the last rune with x3) when you stand against champs like Ahri or junglers like Lee.
Masteries
Masteries for Galio is little special than other champs.
Galio is strong enough that 9 Offense points are quiet working well. At the same time, Galio is tanky enough that you wouldn't have to spend all the points for the Defense part. And there is another simple reason that Galio doesn't give full credit at Defense and give it to Utility.
To Galio, Flash is ABSOLUTELY needed either early, middle, or late games than any other champs.
Flash is needed to be prepared for early gank.
Flash is needed to win the roaming or dragon fight in the middle game.
Summoner Spells
As I mentioned earlier, Flash is the MOST important spell for Galio.
Sometimes, Teleport is also used to roam other lane more efficiently.
Skills
Passive: Runic Skin
- Galio converts 50% of his total Magic Resistance into Ability Power.
- If someone ask me why I play Galio, I would say I just love his Passive.
It enables Galio to be very tanky and strong. Especially when there are many AP dealers on enemy's team, Galio can more focus on Magic Resistance.
Resolute Smite
- Galio fires a concussive blast from his eyes, slowing 24/28/32/36/40% for 2.5s and dealing damage 80/135/190/245/300 (+0.7AP) to enemies caught near the impact point.
Bulwark
- Galio shields an ally Champion for 4 seconds, increasing their Armor and Magic Resistance 30/45/60/75/90, and restoring Galio's health 25/40/55/70/85 (0.3AP) each time that Champion suffers damage.
Righteous Gust
- Galio claps his wings, unleashing a gust of concussive wind that damages enemies 60/105/150/195/240 (+0.5AP) and leaves a directional draft in its wake that increases ally movement speed by 20/28/36/44/52%.
Idol of Durand
- Galio assumes a form of a statue, taunting nearby enemies and storing concussive energy as they attack him. Galio then bursts from his statue shell, releasing the stored energy to damage surrounding foes 220/330/440 (0.6AP).
Skill Build
Mastering Q is absolutely right. Q's dealing and slow effect is needed for every situation to Galio.
Mastering W after Q is recommended. Due to Passive, 50% of Magic Resist will be added as Ability Power. Perform W to increase Magic Resist and deal with Q.

In both ways, you will end up with huge Ability Power due to Passive.

Garen, The Might of Demacia - Season 3
The Story of Garen
Statistics
Runes
In Season 3, early dealing (before 10) became really important. So I think it would be more important to maximize dealing damage in the beginning with runes set up like this.
Top lane is where a lonely fights are going on which means you will have to fight on your own. Depending on how strongly and wisely you fight, there will be huge cs (number on minions you killed) number difference between you and your enemy. It doesn't matter you kill your enemy or not. You want to have more cs and build your items faster than your enemy on your lane.
Masteries
Before, in Season 2, 21 on Offense and 9 on Defense seemed to be the right one. However, Season 3 had introduced lots of changes on Defense.
Tip. - There is no right answer for Masteries. It really depend on your taste and your experience. If you still like the Offense 21 and Defense 9, it's totally fine.
Reflecting on my experience, Defense based Masteries made me get more cs (or the number of minions you killed) because there are huge armors which protects you from dealings while taking your cs. Sometimes, there are adc champs coming top such as Teemo, Vladmir, etc. You will get hit every time you are trying to get cs. Defense based Masteries type really helps you from that.
Summoner Spells
Always recommended.
Sometimes, Teleport can be used for backdoor and ganking. However, I really recommend Flash and Ignite.
Skills
Passive: Perseverance
- If Garen has not been struck by damage or enemy abilities for the last 10 seconds, Garen regenerates 0.5% of his maximum Health each second. Minion damage does not stop Perseverance.
Decisive Strike
- Garen gains a burst of Movement Speed 1.5/2.25/3/3.75/4.5s for 35%, breaking free of all slows affecting him and his next attack strikes a vital area of his foe, dealing bonus damage 30/55/80/105/130 (+1.4AD) and silencing them for 1.5/1.75/2/2.25/2.5s.
- It can be used in two ways. You can use to run away from the enemy since it give high Movement Speed. It can be also used to attack when your enemy comes to take cs.
Courage
- Garen passively increases his Armor and Magic Resist by 20%. He may also activate this ability to grant himself a shield that reduces incoming damage 30% and crowd control effects for a short duration 30%.
Judgment
- Garen performs a dance of death with his sword, dealing damage 20/40/70/95/120 (+0.7/0.8/0.9/1/1.1AD) per second around him for the duration.
Demacian Justice
- Garen calls upon the might of Demacia to deal a finishing blow to an enemy champion that deals damage 175/350/525 based upon how much Health (1 damage per 3.5/3/2.5 HP) his target has missing.
Skill Build (Normal Skill Build)
There are two possible skill builds. You will either master Q or E first. When you master Q first, there would be better chance to kill your enemy. When you master E first, you won't be having hard time taking cs. If you are familiar with taking cs, I recommend you master Q first. If you are having hard time taking cs (minions), I recommend you master E first.
